2025 is here baby. 2024 is no more and the new year means that a new season of Hot Ones is ready to come out of the gate all guns blazing.
2025 marks the 10th anniversary of Hot Ones so this season marks the beginning of a year of celebration for the Hot Ones family worldwide, so no doubt there are going to be plenty of surprises along the way. Season 26 is just the beginning.
Sean Evans has just released the Season 26 hot sauce lineup reveal episode on YouTube and this is what he had to say about the upcoming season of Hot Ones:
“Happy New Year and welcome back Hot Ones fans. This is Sean Evans checking in because it’s that time where we dust off the wooden paddle boards, steam the black tablecloths and say hello to a brand new lineup of hot sauces for Season 26.”
“Not only are we ushering in a new year with a new firing squad of Scovilles but this season marks a very special moment in the history of our chicken wing talk show.”
“This March Hot Ones celebrates its 10th anniversary, that’s more than 350 celebrity interviews, 5,000 plus chicken wings cleared off the board and billions of views all thanks to you the Hot Ones fans.”
“It’s my great honour, my privilege, to host this show and my promise to you is I’ll continue to do it until the wheels fall off. But with that said let’s rev up the engine for Season 26 with our brand new lineup of hot sauces.”
Señor Lechuga 0.006 Hot Sauce
“And we kick things off with a new number one, say hello to Señor Lechuga. Co-founded by Nico Lechuga and Lauren Cosenza in Brooklyn, Señor Lechuga may be new to the Hot Ones family but not to collaborating with interviewers. They’ve previously partnered with Joe Rogan for a lineup of sauces and 0.006 is a super mild, super simple sauce that starts with garlic and avocado oil for a rich texture, just a little bit of a tingle on the heat. The first one, it’s always the easiest.”
Karma Sauce Lift Off Hot Sauce
“Alright, moving on to sauce number two, Karma Sauce Lift Off. Based out of Rochester New York, Gene from Karma Sauce has a knack for getting his hands on high quality global ingredients that make his sauces so unique. it’s citrusy, it’s aromatic and then it has this green chilli base that’s just above mild, so a little bit of a kick here at number two.”
Hot Ones Pickled Garlic Sriracha Hot Sauce
“And then moving on to number three… Sriracha, that’s no big deal. But Day One’s know what I’m talking about, but this sauce right here it is a big deal because it’s a brand new Hot Ones signature sauce to celebrate the 10th anniversary. Hot Ones Pickled Garlic Sriracha, from having Sriracha in one of our OG hot sauce lineups in year one to creating our own twist on the icon. “Hey, look at us, who would have thought?” In true Hot Ones fashion we’ve added a new spin on it with our own pickled garlic and a splash of lime. High quality ingredients, that’s the name of the game and they all go together to create this spicier than average Sriracha.”
Elotes Loco Fire Edition Hot Sauce
“Alright, moving on to sauce number four. Elotes Loco Fire based out of Austin Texas. Severe Foods founder Jose Rivas channeled years of experience cooking plant-based food into a line of meal enhancing sauces with vegetarian friendly ingredients. Elotes Loco Fire it tastes just like your favourite street corn but with a little lingering heat. Chile De Arbol peppers, a handful of ghost peppers, they go together to let you know that things are about to take a turn.”
Hot Ones Los Calientes Rojo Hot Sauce
“And that takes us to the Midway point and hot sauce number five. If you can’t imagine yourself eating a breakfast burrito on a beach in southern California while using Los Calientes Rojo then quite frankly we haven’t done our jobs. it’s the best selling sauce for a reason. Smoked chilies, agave, citrus, cumin… Rojo, it is our hotter but sweeter addition in the Los Calientes line. 5 out of 10 on heat, but a 10 out of 10 in our hearts.”
Piko Peppers Volkano Hot Sauce
“Alright moving on and it’s back half time at number six. We are thrilled to welcome back Piko Peppers after their breakout hit Piko Rico debuted back in Season 19. This one right here is called Volkano. Sweet roasted and Bell peppers add a layer of flavour that quickly gives way to the habanero heat and the habanero in this sauce it’s featured three ways: grounded, roasted, and fermented to give it that extra fire. Things are getting spicy at number six, and that of course gives way to sauce number seven…”
Butterfly Bakery Hot House Hot Sauce
“Butterfly Bakery Hot House Sauce, say that three times fast. Coming in at 131,000 Scovilles, this sauce right here has a unique blend of serrano peppers, habanero, ghost peppers, Carolina Reapers, Carmen peppers, they all go together to create the base for this pickle inspired dilly delicious, but deadly, sauce at number seven.”
Da’ Bomb Beyond Insanity Hot Sauce
“And speaking of deadly sauces back again, the bane of my existence, Da’ Bomb. Some of you, I know you tune into this video just to make sure it’s still there. You don’t need to waste your time. Here we are celebrating the 10th year anniversary, Da’ Bomb Beyond Insanity is still on the table. If you watch the show which if you’re watching the sauce reveal of course you watch the show, you know, number eight, that’s where things get really tough. Beyond Insanity it’s put tears into the eyes of many a Hot Ones guest and it never gets easier to eat. Just ask me.”
Queen Majesty Sicilian Scorpion Hot Sauce
“Alright, moving on to number nine. Queen Majesty. I make no secret about it, one of my favourite hot sauce makers of all time. And here we’re kicking things up with their first time in the lineup, in the number nine spot. Shout out to Erica Diehl from Queen Majesty, a friend and a truly impressive taste maker in New York City’s food scene. Erica designs her own labels, she DJs under the Queen Majesty moniker and Scorpion peppers, notoriously some of the spiciest peppers in the world so you combine that tear inducing heat with Southern Italy inspired produce and spices and what you have right here is Sicilian Scorpion and years ago Eric and I we got in the Queen Majesty lab, we made a sauce of our own, it was kind of the first stepping stone to what is now our number nine sauce in Season 26… years in the making and so happy to have it here.”
Hot Ones The Last Dab Xperience Hot Sauce
“Alright, here we are at the top of Mount Scoville. Everyone enjoy the view, we made it. You don’t have to if you don’t want to, but it’s tradition around here to add a little extra of this mega spicy sauce to the final wing. Hot Ones The Last Dab Xperience closes things out. Featuring the Guinness World Records hottest pepper, Pepper X, this sauce right here a totally unique experience; a machination from the sick and twisted mind of Smokin’ Ed Curry and a fitting final boss to our Season 26 lineup.”
“And there you have it, in all of its glory, our lineup of sauces to take on Season 26. Of course we have some very special surprises for you for the 10th anniversary. Thank you so much to the fans who’ve watched and supported us now for 10 years, giving us the privilege – the honour – of doing this goofy chicken wing talk show and it’ll return for the Season 26 premiere next week. That’s right, we will see you next week. Hot Ones rides again. (Sounds of power turning off) I can’t land it, we’ll see you next week. There you go. Yes, still got it. Badda bing.”
Season 26 is a season with a mix of new and previously featured sauce makers and appears to be a season with a focus on flavour in addition to heat. That said, Queen Majesty Sicilian Scorpion Hot Sauce is the second hottest number nine sauce in Hot Ones history so this season is definitely one of contrasts.
Join in the celebrations Hot Ones fam and get ready for the first Hot Ones season of 2025. This 10th anniversary year is a year to celebrate so be sure to tune in this Thursday January 23 to find out who the first celebrity guest of Season 26 is.
